I dag skulle Hans Einar og Ann Kristin tilbake på jobb og vi skulle flytte over til hytta der vi hadde sendt provianten vår. Vi kunne også sove over videre på hytta sa de, men siden vi allerede hadde avtalt på Bergum og de hadde motatt en pakke fra oss tenkte vi der var fint å bo der en natt også.
Vi fikk på nytt spist godt, og flere kom innom. Blant annet Tor som var tvillingbroren til Lars som skal hente oss på Bergum og kjøre oss til starten av stien. Dette fikset også Hans Einar og Ann Kristin med et par telefoner.
Her på hytta så kom tilfeldigvis også Odd Einar innom. Han kom ned fra Børgefjell rett etter oss og hadde fulgt stien ned rett forbi hytta her. Han spurte tilfeldigvis naboen om han kunne bo der. Odd Einar er en bekjent gjennom felles venner og samme menighet som også går Norge på langs. Vi har ikke møtt eller sett Odd Einar noe, kun pratet over telefonen, så morsomt å endelig møte han og hunden hans Caro.
Vi fikk en helt bærepose med fersk mat, hjemmelaget syltetøy, potetgull, ferskt brød og annet snacks med oss videre. Før de reiste hjem kjørte de oss over til Bergum der vi fikk pakket om alt vi har motatt av mat for de neste par dagene til neste boks. Videre blir det både hyppige pakker og hytter så det blir deilig.
English translation: Today Hans Einar and Ann Kristin are going back to work and we are going to move over to the cabin where we had sent our provisions. We could also have stayed at Hans Einar and Ann Kristen’s cabin another night, they said, but since we had already agreed on Bergum and they had received a package for us, we thought it would be nice to stay at Bergum.
We again had a good meal, and more people came by. Among others Tor, who was the twin brother of Lars, who will pick us up at Bergum and drive us to the start of the trail. This was also fixed by Hans Einar and Ann Kristin with a couple of telephone calls.
Here at the cabin, Odd Einar also came by chance. He came down from Børgefjell right after us and had followed the path down right past the cabin here. He casually asked the neighbor if he could stay there. Odd Einar is an acquaintance through mutual friends and the same congregation who also travels Norway. We haven’t met or seen Odd Einar, only chatted on the phone, so fun to finally meet him and his dog Caro.
We got a whole carrier bag with fresh food, home-made jam, crisps, fresh bread and other snacks to take with us. Before they went home, Hans Einar and Ann Kristen drove us over to Bergum where we had to repack everything we have received in terms of food for the next few days. Furthermore, there will be both frequent packages and cabins so it will be delicious.
