Day 17 – Truger og pulk går bedre (sled and snowshoes works better)

Looks amazing. Happy to hear things going well. Last few days I had thought your hike evolved into an artic expedition!

FYI: (google) translation of Benjamin’s (above) comments: After several days with snowshoes and sledges, it finally starts to feel like we’ve got a little more hang of it. The sledge does not roll away as much, things do not fall off and the snowshoes are better adjusted and fit better.
Nice terrain to walk in today, was supposed to be quite a climb, but did not feel too bad as it was not so steep. Lots of snow in most places, 0.5-1.5m. In some places there is no snow, great for breaks and tents. The weather is still absolutely glorious. We are happy that we bought extra sunscreen before we started the journey over the mountains. Caps and sunglasses are a must here, incredibly bright and uncomfortable without.
Mostly just gone uphill until now. First real hill now. Got to try to sit on the sled to slide with it. Incredibly fun! Unfortunately, many of the slopes have too much lateral slope or rocks and other things we now turn around to be able to slide, but incredibly fun where possible!
Arrived Håheller much earlier than we thought we were going. A nice little cabin with 6 beds, plus a couple of beds in a separate room where you can bring your dog. The cottage is located a little up the hill so it has a fantastic view.
