Ble mye planlegging i dag. Alle hyttene over Hardangervidda er stengt på grunn av reinstyrkalving, og vi hadde planlagt å kjøpe litt mat på hyttene underveis. Heldighvis skrapet vertskapet her frem alt mulig av greier fra kjøkkenet sitt slik at vi fikk kjøpt alt vi trengte av mat, slik at vi fortsatt kommer oss over. Vi fikk også sørget for at familie sender litt ekstra mat til Finse, og Dyranut var utrolig behjelpelig med å skulle kjøpe inn litt mat til oss. Alt for å slippe å være med oss for mye mat herfra, men fortsatt ha nokk.
Vi fikk fyrt opp i den vedfyrte badstuen de har her, utrolig deilig! Og for en utsikt.
Vi møtte flere folk, blant annet Berit Åse og Åsta som kunne fortelle oss masse om føret videre over Hardangervidda. Utrolig trivelig å prate litt med folk etter mange dager uten å møte folk. Vi fikk masse gode tips og fikk oppdatert ruta vår utifra alle tipsene. Resepsjonen var behjelpelig med å få printet litt mere kart da vi plutselig gikk ut av det kartet vi hadde på grunn av andre rute valg.
English Translation: Was a lot of planning today. All the cabins over the Hardangervidda are closed due to reindeer calf calving, and we had planned to buy some food at the cabins along the way. Luckily, the hosts here scraped out all sorts of stuff from their kitchen so we could buy everything we needed for food, so we could still get over. We also made sure that the family sent some extra food to Finse, and Dyranut was incredibly helpful in buying some food for us. All to avoid being with us too much food from here, but still have enough.
We got fired up in the wood-fired sauna they have here, incredibly delicious! And with a view.
We met several people, including Berit Åse and Åsta who could tell us a lot about the route further across the Hardangervidda. Incredibly nice to chat a bit with people after many days without meeting people. We got lots of good tips and got our route updated based on all the tips. The front desk was helpful in getting a little more maps printed when we suddenly ran out of the map we had due to other route choices.
